Task
Task – this is an assignment that’s part of the workflow.
There are three types of tasks:
- risk and consequence analysis tasks – used for planning the workflow;
- approval tasks – used for gathering necessary approvals;
- implementation tasks – used for completing various stages of the implementation plan;
- automation tasks – used for fully automated tasks.
You can combine tasks to form a workflow. The workflow automatically assigns subsequent tasks after the successful completion of previous ones.
Only someone with the workflow manager role in the space can manually add tasks to a workflow that belongs to this space.
A task can be marked as urgent by any specialist who has access to it. The “Mark as Urgent” option is available in the action menu. If you mark a task as urgent, it will appear at the top of the incoming view, without affecting the target metrics for that task.
