Media File

A media file is used for uploading a file to a web server, where it receives a URL address that can be utilized when working with the RR Tech Service Management system. For example, a media file might be created for user guides, allowing its URL to be included in the knowledge base article. Similarly, a background image or an organization’s support logo can be uploaded as a media file to use its URL in the design of an organization’s self-service portal or in PDF designs.

Individuals with the “[specialist]” role […/roles/specialist_role.md] can add new media files to the media library within their organization’s spaces […/accounts/index.md]. They can also update and delete the media files they have created. Individuals with the “[directory administrator]” role […/roles/directory_administrator_role.md] or the “[account administrator]” role […/roles/account_administrator_role.md] can manage and delete all media files within a space.
