Media File

A media file is used for uploading a file to a web server, where it receives a URL address that can be utilized when working with the R-Service (RR Tech Service Management) system. For example, a media file might be created for user guides, allowing its URL to be included in the knowledge base article. Similarly, a background image or an organization’s support logo can be uploaded as a media file to use its URL in the design of an organization’s self-service portal or in PDF designs.

People with the specialist role can add new media files to the media library within their organization’s spaces. They can also update and delete the media files they have created. People with the directory administrator role or the account administrator role can manage and delete all media files within a space.
