Fields of a custom collection element

The following lists the fields of a custom collection element and provides recommendations for their use.

Name

Enter the name of the custom collection element in the Name field. It is best if this name consists of a single, unique word, code, or number.

Description

Enter a very brief description of the custom collection element in the Description field (if its name is not sufficiently informative on its own).

Disabled

Set the Disabled checkbox to true if the custom collection element has not yet been selected or cannot be selected in any future user-defined fields using the custom view for the custom collection (custom collection) to which this element belongs.

Custom Collection

Select the custom collection to which the element belongs in the Custom Collection field.

Link

The Link field will automatically be set to the value of the Name field, written in lowercase and with all spaces replaced by an underscore. This link can be used by integrations and automation rules for unique identification of the custom collection element.

Information

Add any additional information about the custom collection element in the Information field, which may be helpful. Basic text formatting can be used in this field.
