OAuth Application Fields

The following fields are listed for the OAuth application form, along with recommendations for their use.

Name

Enter the name of the external application in the Name field.

Disabled

Check the Disabled box if the application can no longer interact with the RR Tech Service Management system.

Created

The Created field displays the date and time of application registration.

Permission Type

Specify the type of permission needed by the application in the Permission Type field – either Authorization Code Grant Flow or Client Credentials Grant Flow.

Authorization Code Grant

Home Page URL

Enter a link to the application’s homepage in the Home Page URL field. This field is available if ‘Authorization Code Grant Flow’ permission is selected.

Description

Provide a reason for requesting user permissions from the application in the Description field. Users will see this description when the application requests permission. This field is available if ‘Authorization Code Grant Flow’ permission is selected. You can use basic text formatting here.

Endpoints

Specify one or more endpoints for the application in the Endpoints field. This field is available if ‘Authorization Code Grant Flow’ permission is selected.

Tokens

Client ID

Display the unique token identifier in the Client ID field.

Created

Display the date of token creation in the Created field.

Last Used

Show the last usage date of the token in Last Used.
