Survey Fields

The following fields are available for the survey form, along with recommendations for their use.

Image

The Image field is used to add an image or logo for the survey. To enlarge or change the image, click on it.

Name

The Name field is used to enter the name of the survey.

Disabled

The Disabled checkbox should be selected if the survey can no longer be used to evaluate a service.

Introductory Part

The Introductory Part field is used to specify general recommendations for the user (e.g., average response time). These recommendations are displayed before the first question. Basic text formatting is possible in this field.

Question

The Question field is used to enter the question for evaluating the service.

Optional Additional Instructions

The Optional Additional Instructions field is used to specify additional information related to the question. Basic text formatting is possible in this field.

Type

The Type field should be set to either "rating" (a question where the evaluation is given using stars) or "free text" (the question requires a detailed textual answer). Only the first type of questions is used when calculating the service rating. If the survey does not contain at least one "rating" question, the answers to it will be displayed in the "Survey Results" section of the analytics console under the "Partially" tab.

Weight

The Weight field determines the contribution of the “rating” question type to the service rating calculation. The relative weight of the question is automatically displayed as a percentage (%) next to this field. For example, if there are two “rating” questions in the survey with weights of 100 and 200 (or 50 and 100), the relative weight used in calculating the service rating will be 33% and 67%, respectively.

Disabled

The Disabled checkbox should be selected if the question is no longer relevant in the survey.

Completion

The Completion field is used to thank or provide other feedback to the user after they have answered the last question. Basic text formatting is possible in this field.
