Roles

When assigning a person a role in a space, that person receives additional access rights within the RR Tech Service Management system. One person can have multiple roles in several spaces. The following roles are available for each space:

• End User Role
  • Key Contact
• Auditor
• Financial Manager
• Specialist
  • Service Desk Analyst
  • Service Desk Manager
  • Knowledge Manager
  • Problem Manager
  • Workflow Manager
  • Release Manager
  • Project Manager
  • Service Level Manager
  • Configuration Manager
• Account Designer
• Account Administrator

The Specialist role is a necessary condition for all other roles, except for the Auditor, Account Designer, and Account Administrator.

The main space – is a special type of space where records of organizations, people, and sites are stored. To ensure access to information in the main space, the following roles exist:

• Directory Auditor
• Directory Financial Manager
• Directory Designer
• Directory Administrator

Every role assignment or removal for a person is recorded in the permissions log, available in the system logs section within settings console.
