Knowledge Article template Fields
The fields of the knowledge article template form are listed below and recommendations for using each of them are provided.
A short description is entered in the Subject field. It is copied to the Topic field of the new knowledge article when it is created based on the template.
Disabled
Section titled “Disabled”The Disabled checkbox is set if the template for the knowledge article cannot be used.
Service
Section titled “Service”The Service field is used to select the service for which the template for the knowledge article is available.
Service instance
Section titled “Service instance”The Service Instance field is used to select service instances for which this template of the knowledge article is available.
UI Extension
Section titled “UI Extension”The UI Extension field is used to select UI extension, which is added to the knowledge article when the template is applied to it.
