Reservation offering fields

The fields of the reservation offering form are listed below and recommendations on how to use each of them are provided.

The name of the reservation offering is entered in the Name field. Examples: conference room, parking space.

The Disabled checkbox is set if the reservation offering can no longer be linked to the request template.

In the Service Instance field, select the service instance associated with the reservation offering.

In the Calendar field, select calendar, which defines the hours at which configuration item (CI) are available for use.

The Time zone field selects the time zone applied to the selected calendar.

The Initial status field indicates whether the requested reservation is confirmed immediately or whether some action needs to be performed to confirm it (for example, approval). The following options are available: Pending – The requested reservation is awaiting confirmation; Confirmed – the requested reservation is confirmed.

In the Min. duration field, the minimum reservation period for the configuration item (CI) for this offer is indicated.

The Max. duration field indicates the maximum reservation period for the configuration item (CI) for this offer.

The time interval of the reservation duration for this offer is indicated in the Duration step field.

The Several days checkbox is set if the reservation for this offer starts and ends on different days. If this option is selected, the duration of the reservation is determined using the End field instead of the End Duration field.

The Duration of Preparation field indicates the time period required to prepare the configuration item (CI) for the next person who booked it. Individuals cannot request a reservation if it coincides with the duration of the preparation of an existing reservation for the same reservation.

In the Min. prefaced. duration field indicates the period of time required for advance notification from the moment of reservation request to its start. This is usually the time period required to prepare the configuration item (CI).

In the Max. preview. duration field indicates when in the future it is possible to schedule the start of reservation for this offer.

The Allow repeat checkbox is set if the reservation request related to this offer can be repeated up to the time period specified by the Max. advance field. This checkbox is available if the value of the field is Max. precede. duration is set to 24 hours or more.

Using the Filters field, filters are selected through which persons selecting the configuration items (CI) of the reservation offering can select CIs that meet certain criteria, for example, a product or a site of the CI. You can also add filterable custom fields to the product so that it can be selected by these fields as well.

In the Configuration item (CI) field configuration items (CI) are selected that are available for reservation by persons that are subject to an active service level agreement (SLA) for the corresponding service instance. The reservation offering must be linked to the reservation category request template.

The Request Templates field lists the request templates that the reservation offering is associated with.
