Inbox Console

Inbox console

The Inbox console contains a list of all your assignments ( i.e. requests, problems and tasks) with priorities. You can also use this console to review assignments to your team (or teams) of which you are a member. There are two buttons above the list of assignments (when clicked, the corresponding views are displayed). The first is My inbox, second - My team's inbox. Assignments in both views are sorted by target date by default.

My Inbox

If the button is pressed and active My Inbox, then the view below it shows all your open assignments (i.e. requests, problems, and tasks assigned to you).

In addition, this view lists all assignments with the status “Assigned” that have not yet been transferred to a specific member of your team(s), if:

  • you are the coordinator of the team to which the assignment has been made, or
  • the coordinator was not specified for the team to which the assignment was made, and the "Auto-assignment" option was not selected.

Due to the fact that the team coordinator sees all the assignments to be distributed to specific team members, he does not need to leave the “My Inbox” view to transfer the assignment to a specific member.

If the team you are a member of does not have a coordinator for distributing work among different members, and the "Auto-assignment" option is not used, then all members will see team assignments in the “My Inbox” view that are not distributed among specific members. Thanks to this, all team members are aware of assignments that still need to be accepted by someone. When an assignment is accepted by one of the team members, it is no longer displayed in the My Inbox view of other members. To quickly accept an assignment, select it by clicking on it, and then click Accept on the toolbar.

My team's inbox

Presentation My Team's Inbox can be opened by clicking on the My Team's Inbox button. It lists all open assignments (i.e. requests, problems, and tasks) that have been assigned to the team(s) of which you are a member. This view can be used by team coordinators to check the workload of specific members and ensure that team assignments move towards completion according to priorities.

New assignments

Inbox with new assignment

When a request, problem, or task with the status “Assigned" appears in the My Inbox view, a blue dot appears in front of him/her to draw attention to the new assignment. As soon as the status of a new assignment changes (for example, when you accepted it), it ceases to be considered "new" and the blue dot disappears. If there is at least one new assignment, the number of new assignments is displayed as a red number above the Inbox console icon.
