Out of Office Periods Fields
The following fields are available for the “Out of Office Periods” form, along with recommendations for their use.
Person
In the Person field, the person for whom the Out of Office Period is being created is selected.
Types of Labor Costs
In the Types of Labor Costs field, the type of labor cost that best describes the reason for creating the Out of Office Period is selected. This field is only available if the organization where the employee works is associated with one or more types of labor costs that do not require providing a service or maintaining client contact. It automatically registers time accounting records for the Out of Office Period created for an employee.
Effort Class
In the Effort Class field, the effort class that best describes the reason for creating the Out of Office Period is selected. This field is only available if the organization where the employee works is associated with one or more effort classes that do not require providing a service or maintaining client contact.
Reason
In the Reason field, a brief description of the reasons for creating the Out of Office Period is entered. This field is available if either the Types of Labor Costs field is not present, or if the selected type of labor cost allows or requires a description.
Start
In the Start field, the date and time when the Out of Office Period begins is selected. If the Out of Office Period starts at midnight, enter 00:00.
End
In the End field, the date and time when the Out of Office Period ends is selected. If the Out of Office Period ends at midnight, enter 24:00.
Delegate for Approval
In the Delegate for Approval field, the person to whom approval tasks for the Out of Office Period should be assigned is selected.
