Application Offering
Standard connections between R-Service (RR Tech Service Management) and external systems are provided through application offerings. It’s possible to configure the application offering provider within their space and subsequently publish them for trusted spaces that can install them from the applications section in settings console.
The provider controls the connection of the R-Service (RR Tech Service Management) system and the launch of external applications outside the system. Cloud services can be used, or hosting infrastructure can be created for integration.
This architecture allows for the complete automation of integration installation for clients. Clients gain control over the provider’s actions and access to their spaces. Thus, providers can develop and offer applications that interact with external systems based on events within the R-Service (RR Tech Service Management) client’s space, and with data from the client’s space – based on events in the external system.
Providers can change application offerings through releasing a new version. Clients must approve it before it begins interacting with their space.
Each person with the account administrator role role can manage application offerings within their organization’s space (the "Application offerings" section in the settings console). Once published, application offerings become available to trusted spaces.
The app offering fields page presents recommendations for using each field in the application offering form.
