The shop article category fields

The fields of the store's product (shop article) category form are listed below and recommendations for using each of them are provided.

Image

In the Image field an image or logo of the category is added. Click on the image to enlarge or edit it.

Name

The name of the category is entered in the Name field.

Parent

In the Parent field, select the category for which the current category is a child. This way, you can create a hierarchy of the shop article categories.

Child

In the Child field, select the category for which the current category is the parent. This way, you can create a hierarchy of the shop article categories.

Short description

A short description of the category is entered in the Short Description field, which is displayed in the shop article categories view.

Full description

In the Full description field a long description of the category is entered, which is displayed above the article of this category in the shop.
