Team fields
The fields of the team's form are listed below and recommendations on how to use each of them are provided.
Image
A photo or the team's logo is added to the Image field. Click on the image to enlarge or change it.
Name
The name of the team is entered in the Name field. Examples: Service Desk, operational activities, database administration, Astra Linux servers, application development.
Disabled
The Disabled checkbox is set if the command can no longer be linked to other records.
Coordinator
In the field Coordinator the current coordinator of the team is selected. Only team members can be selected in this field. The Person selected as the coordinator will receive all team assignments (i.e. requests, problems, and tasks) that are not assigned to a specific team member in his inbox console. Keep in mind that not all teams work with a coordinator, whose responsibilities include distributing assignments among the participants. If the field Coordinator is not filled in, all team assignments that are not assigned to a specific participant will be displayed in the "My Inbox" view of each team member.
Automatic assignment
The Automatic assignment checkbox is set if you want to automatically assign requests to team members based on an algorithm that includes periods outside the office, working hours of participants and the team, holidays, and goals. This setting can be used with or without a team coordinator.
Manager
The manager or team leader is selected in the Manager field. This person can manage information about the team. The team manager does not have to be a member of the team.
Configuration Manager
In the Configuration Manager field, select the person who manages information about the configuration items (CI) that the team supports.
Working hours
In the Working Hours field, select calendar, which defines the working hours during which the team is available to work on all types of assignments. You should not specify the hours when the team is only available to resolve incidents, or the maintenance period during which the team implements changes.
Time zone
In the Time Zone field, select the time zone that applies to the specified business hours.
Notes
Any additional information about the team that may be useful is added to the Notes field. Basic text formatting is possible in this field.
Members
In the field Members are added to the persons who are part of the team.
Agile board
In the Agile board field, select agile board teams. Any work assigned to the team is automatically placed in the first column of the selected agile board.
Incoming email (email)
Allow incoming email to be sent directly to this team
The Allow incoming e-mail to be sent directly to this team checkbox is set if the team needs to specify an incoming e-mail address.
Incoming email address
The Incoming Email Address field specifies the team's email address. When sending an email to this address, a new request is created, which is assigned to the team. For more information about incoming emails, see the API documentation .
