Product Backlog
The product backlog is an ordered list of requests and problems that must be resolved to improve the product, as specified in the product's purpose. You can add product backlog items from the Request or Problem view using the Actions button and drag and drop them.
They may contain a score that is used as an indicator of difficulty for developers. The Scrum team or development team must agree on which range of numbers to use for this assessment.
For teams working in accordance with the Scrum concept, the product backlog is a single source of work performed by the team. The use of a product backlog is not limited to teams using Scrum, it can be useful in any product development environment.
Requests or problems placed in the backlog will have the status ‘In the backlog’ if the status was not ‘Pending Workflow’, ‘Pending...’ or ‘Awaiting Action from the client'.
The Product Backlog Fields page provides recommendations for using each of the product backlog form fields.
